Major Lectures Series

To inspire pedagogical thinking

The AQPC's Major Lectures are opportunities to meet and exchange with public figures who work in the periphery of the collegiate framework as such. They seek to highlight certain links that exist between college life and broader societal issues.

These one-off meetings are generally held twice a year, at the beginning of the fall and winter sessions. They are opportunities to explore avenues that are somewhat marginal to college pedagogy and to enrich one's pedagogical reflections in turn.

Grande Conference 16 septembre

Description

The future of college pedagogy cannot be improvised—it must be built. Following an extensive foresight exercise conducted with and for the college community, this conference synthesizes the scenarios for the future that were co-constructed throughout the project, their tensions, their convergences, and what they reveal about the profound transformations underway in higher education.
Far from being an exercise in prediction, this synthesis is a collective invitation to embrace uncertainty with clarity — and to make foresight a real lever for mobilization. What decisions should we anticipate? What capabilities should we strengthen? How can we engage our teams and institutions in a sustainable culture of foresight?
Participants will leave with a deeper understanding of the possible futures of college pedagogy and the strategic implications that arise from them.
