Recognition for Continuing Education and Services Offered to Businesses Award
The continuing education and business services sector represents a significant branch of activity for institutions in the college network. Continuing education allows adults from all backgrounds to improve and have their skills acknowledged in order to advance in their professional lives. Through continuing education, those adults are able to obtain a qualification allowing them to be constantly up to date in their field of employment.
The Recognition for Continuing Education and Services Offered to Businesses Award, created in 2022 by the Association québécoise de pédagogie collégiale (AQPC), is meant to pay tribute to an individual who has contributed to the development, support and advancement of continuing education at the college level.
This award is presented at the end of the AQPC conference to an individual who has made an exceptional contribution to the development of continuing education in the college network. Be it face-to-face or online teaching, corporate training, the implementation of steps for the recognition of prior learning and competencies, research or formative writings, the laureate has contributed to making continuing education what it is today.
