How can we put students at the centre of their learning? What strategies can we use to make learning meaningful and encourage students to take initiative? Teachers have been motivated by these questions to continually adjust their practices to help train citizens who are aware of the issues of our time and capable of initiating positive change in their communities. In this workshop, teachers from the Cégep de Sainte-Foy representing various technical and pre-university programs will discuss their motivations and adjustments to their teaching methods that led them to implement strategies aimed at developing students' entrepreneurial spirit. Their stories will highlight journeys ranging from intuitive, individual first steps to creating a community of practice supported by their institution's guidelines.
