The use of virtual reality in college education is now accessible and offers new possibilities. But in what context does it truly add value to traditional pedagogical methods?
During this workshop, the presenters will share their experience of creating and using several virtual reality videos in the Special Education Techniques program, and will discuss how competencies and their taxonomic level were placed at the heart of the development process. They will present the step-by-step process behind the creation of the 10 videos developed for the program, the accompanying pedagogical guides, and how this immersive pedagogy has been received by the student cohorts who have experienced it.
