Are the students at your college familiar with intellectual work methods? Do you feel informed enough to discuss those methods with them and steer them toward the right resources? Do you know about “skilled reading”? Stress- and time-management methods? Are you able to adequately prepare your students for an exam? If you hesitate before saying “yes” to any of these questions, you’ll no doubt be glad to read about the GPS project and Prezi video clips discussed in this article. These tools—combined and onlined on a single, freely accessible platform—were developed by two Psychology teachers from the CÉGEP de Sherbrooke in an effort to help users meet all the challenges of intellectual activity. This new tool is already a resounding success, and there is every indication that it will soon become even more popular…perhaps in your classroom or college!
