Welcome

2416246067_48ac725bbc_314Vanier CollegeCreated by a group of educators eager to stimulate pedagogical progress in colleges and upgrade the teaching profession in higher education, the AQPC is an association open to everyone who works in the public or private college sector, universities and other educational organizations in Quebec and elsewhere.

Every year, the AQPC organizes a conference featuring over 100 presentations. These events draw 800 to 1100 individuals who take part in conferences, round table discussions and other presentations. AQPC magazine Pédagogie Collégiale, published four times a year, with a distribution of 2,700 copies provides a platform for educators, a place where teachers can share their experiences and learn from each other. It contains articles describing teaching experiences, innovations, research results and theoretical briefs on teaching at the college level. The AQPC also publishes Proceedings of the annual symposium, books and a quarterly newsletter.

Over 1 000 members

Over the years, what began as a few dozen people has grown into an organization with over 1 000 individual members that include teaching (63%), professional (24%), and managerial staff (10 %) from the network of public and private colleges. Other persons (3 %) complete the individual membership. In addition to this group, 46 colleges, universities and associations have registered as institutional members.
