Presentation
The Virtual Care Unit (VCU) is a digital hospital created using immersive virtual reality technology. Initiated in 2018, this societal project brings together the expertise of various stakeholders from colleges, universities and clinical settings to promote the development and maintenance of skills among healthcare professionals. Thanks to its flexibility, the UVS increasingly meets learners' expectations in terms of immersive and non-immersive simulations.
This webinar illustrates the potential of the UVS through an in virtuo visit, and is an opportunity to discuss the results of the collaborative work currently being deployed to promote accessibility to a flexible, safe and pedagogically useful simulator. The result will be a reflection on the advantages and challenges of implementing this pedagogical method in teaching environments, particularly in an inter-level context.
