The difficulties regarding school integration is widespread among male students and efforts are being made to counter this situation.  For example, qualitative research is being done on the way male college students who are enrolled in Social sciences, perceive college and success.  This article offers an overview of this study.  The author starts by defining the concept of social models and outlines the essential components of the problematic as well as the conceptual and methodological framework supporting his research.  Then, to emphasize the testimonials of male students surveyed, the presentation of results is limited to the convergences and divergences between strong and weak students, in the third session, relative to the social teaching models they have of teachers as well as teaching means and methods. Student remarks are then compared to educational principles developed and recommended by several authors.  Lastly, the author identifies the impact of the results on teaching and learning, including the implementation of teaching and learning means and methods that promote understanding and meet the criteria of dynamism, interaction, and interest, all of which are core components of the model that male students have of teaching.
