Intégrer efficacement les TIC à sa pratique professionnelle
The author analyzes the process inherent to the integration of ITC in the professional practice of professors by first identifying the areas of professional activity mobilizing ITC resources: office automation and networking, the didactics of software and computerized systems as well as educational activities within the framework of providing courses or EICT (TICE). He then presents a reference of techno-educational competencies elaborated by Bérubé and Poëllhuber, followed by examples of competency reference points complete with an explicit progression of how to achieve the techno-educational competencies. Finally he illustrates a detailed organization of the training necessary for the development of these competencies. According to the author, the educational network must now apply itself to targeting the competencies to be developed in the professors, to identifying the training objectives and to concretely implementing these strategies. This is what performa offers professors at collegial level through its programs. The training offered is supported by an explicit frame of reference and based on the empirical analysis of the most effective practices.
